- A może miałbyś ochotę sprawdzić, czy dasz radę podnieść samochód?
- Czy chciałbyś posłuchać, jak brzmi muzyka tworzona za pomocą transformatora energii elektrycznej?
- Czy chciałbyś zobaczyć, jakie to uczucie czuć na twarzy wiatr wiejący z prędkością kilkudziesięciu kilometrów na godzinę?
- A może chciałbyś odbyć miłą pogawędkę z robotem?
Jeśli udzieliłeś odpowiedzi twierdzącej na przynajmniej jedno z tych pytań, powinieneś odwiedzić IQLandię w czeskim mieście Liberec. Jest to centrum nauki, w którym możesz odwiedzić ekspozycje dotyczące: ludzkiego ciała – szkieletu i układu krwionośnego – oraz zmysłów (tę właśnie, na której możesz je przetestować: rozróżnianie smaków i zapachów, odnajdywanie źródła dźwięku i nie tylko), meteorologii, wytwarzania energii (tu możesz zabawić się, napędzając modele samolotów światłem reflektora, oraz raz na godzinę posłuchać jak brzmią znane utwory „grane” za pomocą transformatora), wody (urządzenia umożliwiające przenoszenie jej oraz wytwarzanie energii za jej pomocą) itp. Jest tu również dostępne planetarium, jednak aby do niego wejść, należy dodatkowo dopłacić do biletu – dlatego też ja tam nie byłam. W każdym razie jedno jest pewne: jeśli chcesz, aby nauka stała się dla ciebie przyjemnością, IQLandia jest dla ciebie idealnym miejscem – zdecydowanie WARTYM ODWIEDZENIA. - Would you like to test your sensory organs: ears, nose, tongue, etc.?
- Would you like to see how the Archimedes’ screw works? Or would you prefer to test several different types of turbines to see which one produces the most energy? Or to try to propel a model airplane using a solar panel?
- Or would you like to see if you can lift the car?
- Would you like to hear how the music created by an electricity transformer sounds?
- Would you like to see what it feels like to feel the wind blowing at a speed of several tens of kilometers per hour on your face?
- Or maybe you would like to have a nice chat with the robot?
If you gave an affirmative answer to any of these questions, you should visit IQLandia in the Bohemian city of Liberec. It’s a learning center where you can visit exhibitions about: the human body – the skeleton and the cardiovascular system – and the senses (that’s where you can test them: distinguishing tastes and smells, finding the sound’s source and not only that), meteorology, energy production (here you can have fun, powering the aircraft models with a light reflector, and once in an hour listening to how the familiar songs sound, „played” with the transformer), water (devices for moving it and the production of energy with its help), etc. There’s also a planetarium available, but to enter it, you must pay extra for the ticket – that’s why I wasn’t there. In any case, one thing is certain: if you want science to become pleasure for you, IQLandia is an ideal place for you – definitely WORTH VISITING.
