Zdumiona Esther po raz kolejny przeczytała list od męża. Ukryty zapas broni? Jak to?! I to w tak dziwnym miejscu – zakopany w ogródku… Gdyby nie to, że dobrze znała swojego małżonka, powiedziałaby, że pewnie postradał zmysły albo ją okłamał.
W tym momencie jej rozważania nad dziwaczną treścią listu przerwało pukanie do drzwi – odwiedziła ją policja. Wkrótce potem cały jej ogródek został przekopany, ale broni nie znaleziono. A więc jednak Avriel ją okłamał… Ale czemu to zrobił? I jak policja dowiedziała się o jego liście, skoro ona nikogo nie zawiadamiała?
Amazed Esther read the letter from her husband once again. Hidden supply of arms? How come?! And it is in such a strange place – buried in the garden… If it were not that she knew her husband well, she would say that he had probably lost his mind or had lied to her.
At this point, her deliberations on the weird content of the letter were interrupted by a knock at the door – she was visited by the police. Soon after, her whole garden was dug, but no weapons were found. So Avriel had lied to her… But why did he do it? And how did the police learn of his letter if she did not notify anyone?
