Kilka dni temu odwiedziłam miejsce, w którym nucenie tej piosenki byłoby całkowicie uzasadnione – Ogrody Kapias. Jest to jedna z atrakcji wsi uzdrowiskowej Goczałkowice-Zdrój w województwie śląskim.
Ogrody Kapias to prawdziwa gratka dla miłośników ogrodnictwa. Stworzone w 1979 roku przez Bronisława Kapiasa i systematycznie rozbudowywane zarówno przez ich twórcę jak i jego rodzinę, aktualnie zajmują całkiem spory teren. Są podzielone na sektory, w których każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Można zobaczyć między innymi ogród w stylu angielskim, japońskim, skandynawskim, śródziemnomorskim, holenderskim, w stylu włoskiego patio, a nawet ogród ze ścieżką w polskich barwach narodowych. W dwóch miejscach zbudowane są także naturalne stawy, z których jeden można obserwować z wnętrza altany. Jesteś miłośnikiem gór? Nie ma problemu, możesz odwiedzić zakątek górski. Kochasz „Cztery Pory Roku” Vivaldiego? W takim razie przejdź przez Wąwóz Wiosna, Ogród Lato, Ogród Jesień i Ogród Zima. Uwielbiasz powieści Frances Hodgson Burnett? Tu znajdziesz Tajemniczy Ogród! Możesz także spróbować swoich sił w zielonym labiryncie.
Jeśli w trakcie zwiedzania Ogrodów Kapias zgłodniejesz, możesz skorzystać z restauracji znajdującej się na terenie obiektu lub zjeść lody w jednej z budek, które się tam znajdują. A najlepsze jest to, że jeśli zdecydujesz się coś zjeść, to będzie to jedyna rzecz, za którą będziesz musiał zapłacić podczas wizyty – wejście jest bezpłatne. Całość jest przystosowana do potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych. W bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie Ogrodów znajduje się centrum ogrodnicze należące do rodziny Kapias, w którym oprócz roślin można kupić również donice oraz ozdoby ogrodowe. Miłej zabawy!

A few days ago, I visited a place where humming this song would be completely justified – Kapias Gardens. It is one of the attractions of the health resort village of Goczałkowice-Zdrój in the Silesian Voivodeship.
Kapias Gardens are a real treat for gardening enthusiasts. Created in 1979 by Bronisław Kapias and systematically expanded both by their creator and his family, they currently occupy quite a large area. They are divided into sectors with something for everyone. You can see, among others, a garden in the English, Japanese, Scandinavian, Mediterranean, Dutch style, Italian-style patio, and even a garden with a path in Polish national colours. There are also natural ponds built in two places, one of which can be watched from inside the gazebo. Are you a mountain lover? No problem, you can visit the mountain corner. Do you love Vivaldi’s „Four Seasons”? Then walk through the Spring Gorge, Summer Garden, Autumn Garden and Winter Garden. Do you love the novels of Frances Hodgson Burnett? Here you will find the Secret Garden! You can also try your hand at the green maze.
If you get hungry while visiting Kapias Gardens, you can use the restaurant on-site or eat ice cream in one of the booths located there. And the best part is that if you choose to eat, that will be the only thing you will have to pay for during your visit – entrance is free. The whole thing is adapted to the needs of disabled people. In the immediate vicinity of the Gardens, there is a garden centre belonging to the Kapias family, where apart from plants you can also buy pots and garden decorations. Have fun!
