Pierwszy dzień roku szkolnego. Elysian Heights Elementary School w Echo Park (California, USA) wypełnia się dziećmi, przygotowującymi się do rozpoczęcia nauki. Przed drzwiami budynku stawiają się jednak także… reporterzy z lokalnej stacji telewizyjnej. Czekają oni na jednego z uczniów tej szkoły. Dlaczego? Jest to postać bardzo znana w sąsiedztwie. Przez cały rok szkolny dostaje od swoich fanów około 100 listów dziennie. Wszystkie one są kierowane na adres placówki. No właśnie, a dlaczego nie wysyła się ich do miejsca zamieszkania tego ucznia? Powód jest prosty, a jednocześnie dość dziwny: w czasie, kiedy szkoła jest czynna, mieszka on w budynku. A kiedy zaczynają się wakacje, uczeń ten po prostu… znika! Dlatego właśnie reporterzy czekają teraz przed drzwiami, aby uchwycić moment jego powrotu. A najciekawsze jest to, że nasz bohater uczęszcza do Elysian Elementary już dużo dłużej, niż inni uczniowie – i to mimo, że wcale nie ma problemów z nauką!

Well, why aren’t they sent to this student’s place of residence? The reason is simple and at the same time quite strange: while the school is open, he lives in the building. And when the holiday starts, this student just… disappears! That’s why the reporters are now waiting outside the door to capture the moment of his return. And the most interesting thing is that our hero has been attending Elysian Elementary for much longer than other students – even though he has no learning difficulties!
