„Kozy cara” "The Tsar's Goats"
Pewien Hucuł zajmował się rozciąganiem zwierzęcych skór do suszenia (jest to jeden z elementów procesu przygotowywania skóry do wykonywania z niej produktów). Zarabiał na tym zajęciu mało – tylko 4 sztuki srebra. Pewnego dnia, kiedy akurat był nad rzeką, podjechali do niego car i jego ministrowie. Po krótkiej rozmowie, władca zapytał mężczyznę na co wydawał swoje zarobki.
„Pożyczam jedną sztukę srebra komukolwiek, kto o to poprosi, spłacam moje długi drugą, wyrzucam trzecią, a czwartą daję kozom.”
Car nie mógł zrozumieć odpowiedzi, którą otrzymał. Ministrowie, pomimo wielu kłótni, także nie domyślili się, co rozmówca ich przełożonego miał na myśli, kiedy wypowiadał te tajemniczo brzmiące słowa. A czy wy potraficie odgadnąć ich znaczenie?

One day, just as he was by the river, the Tsar and his ministers rode up to him. After a short conversation, the ruler asked the man what he spent his earnings on.
„I lend one piece of silver to whoever asks for it, pay my debts with the second, throw out the third and give the fourth to the goats.”
The Tsar couldn’t understand the answer that he got. The ministers, despite many quarrels, didn’t guess what the interlocutor of their superior meant when he spoke these mysteriously sounding words. And can you guess their meaning?
