Mordercza Tajemnica 3
Murder Mystery Game 3

W ROLACH GŁÓWNYCH:

Murder Mystery Game 3

Pan Kelley: młody biznesmen; wchodząc do tego świata, postanowił, że pierwszy milion zarobi jeszcze zanim skończy 30 lat. Jego motto: „Chcesz osiągnąć sukces? Walcz o to!”

Pan Scott: prawdziwa artystyczna dusza, mówią o nim „złote dziecko” (ukończył studia na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych i najlepszą szkołę muzyczną w kraju, pisze książki…); wiecznie otoczony wianuszkiem fanów obojga płci.

Detektyw Kaplan: życie płata mu figle, planował karierę medyczną, a wylądował gdzie wylądował 🙂 Prawdziwy ekspert w badaniu szczegółów zbrodni, robi to z „chirurgiczną” dokładnością.

Gdzie to widziano go żywego? Zaraz, co on jeszcze zeznał? Sekretarka denata… jak ona się nazywa? Aha, panna Smith! Więc sekretarka denata była w przedsionku wtedy, kiedy on kończył zmianę. Hm…

A ta cała panna Smith? Aha! Widziała szefa idącego do apartamentu pana Jonesa o 11:55 – Jones to inny biznesmen. No, ale idźmy dalej.

Scott, Scott… Znaleziono jego auto – ze śladami krwi denata. Ale jego samego po zabójstwie nie widziano.

No dobrze, wróćmy do Jonesa. Eh, skomplikowana sprawa.

A więc:

  1. Kto był mordercą?
  2. Czym zabił?
  3. O której godzinie i gdzie doszło do zabójstwa?

Wywiózł ciało do parku, zaparkował samochód w odludnym miejscu i przeciągnął zwłoki tam, gdzie je potem znaleziono; następnie wrócił autem do hotelu, zostawił je tam i ulotnił się. Śmierć nastąpiła o 12:30.

STARRING:

Murder Mystery Game 3

Mr. Kelley: young businessman; when he entered this world, he decided that he’d earn the first million before he was 30. His motto: „You want to succeed? Fight for it!”

Mrs. Kelley: Mr. Kelley’s wife, former Miss Beauty – does not match the stereotypes of women taking part in such competitions; she’s like a chameleon, can adapt to any situation.

Mr. Jones: An experienced businessman, he sees his competitors as deadly enemies. His employees call him „the shark”.

Mr. Scott: a true artistic soul, they call him a „golden child” (he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and the best music school in the country, writes books…); Forever surrounded by fans of both sexes.

Miss Smith: Mr. Kelley’s secretary; her photographic memory is distinctive; she speaks 5 languages; had she lived in the times of Sherlock Holmes, she would have been a rival to him.

Receptionist: the term „right person in the right place” does not fit into it. Looks like a retired boxer.

Detective Kaplan: his life tricked him down, planned his medical career, and landed where he landed. 🙂 A real expert in investigating the details of the crime, he does it with „surgical” accuracy.

Detective Kaplan scratched his head, once again listening to the testimonies of the witnesses that they had given to the police, and viewing the notes of what he had learned on his own account – both from them and his co-workers. Mr Kelley, a businessman, was found in the park, dead… at 1:30 a.m. by a man returning from a party. This was one of the many crimes recently committed in this area. According to the pathologist who performed the autopsy, he died an hour earlier; it certainly did not happen where he was found, because traces of traction were visible on the body. In addition, the attention of the medic was attracted by something else: in addition to mortal, as he claimed stab wounds on the back (knife), the man also had a gunshot wound on the thigh.

Hold on, how was it? Where was he seen alive? He was at the hotel, the receptionist said he saw him in the hall 15 minutes after midnight – he checked the time, because at 12:30 a.m. he was about to go off duty. He also said he saw his wife at 11:30 at night, going to the room of Mr. Scott, the artist… and he often saw them going out together. Right now, what did he still testify? The victim’s secretary… what’s her name? Oh, Miss Smith! So the victim’s secretary was in the vestibule when he finished the change. And 5 minutes earlier (12:25 p.m.) he saw a denat going to Mr. Scott’s room. Hmmm, what for? But this can be dealt with later. And he also said that Kelley was bleeding a little, but only slightly. Hmm… Well, but one cannot really trust him. From what the police said, he was punished twice for stealing… I wonder how he landed here? After all, normal hotels do not employ people with criminal past…

And this all Miss Smith? She said no one came out of the building at 12:25-12:45… She was quite scared because under her window a knife was found – probably the one Mr. Kelley had been hurt with. Technicians found Mr. Scott’s fingertips on it. What else? Aha! She saw her boss going to Mr. Jones’s apartment at 11:55 p.m. – Jones is another businessman. This one could have motive, Kelley „stole” all his clients. By the way, she also admitted that she often followed her boss. Why? Because, as she confessed with shame, she fell in love with him… Well, let’s go further.

Scott, Scott… His car was found – with traces of the dead man’s blood. But he himself was not seen after the assassination.

Okay, let’s go back to Jones. What do we know about him? He owned a firearm and said that citizens should have the right to own it without having to obtain permits. After this situation, the client threatened the killer that he would kill him. Before his room was found traces of blood – the study indicated that it belonged to Mr. Kelley. Sam Jones was, like Scott, elusive. It was learned that at midnight in his room was a burglary, then shot the intruder. After investigating the man’s weapon, two facts came out: only one bullet was fired, and it was the same bullet as the one found in the dead man’s body. Well, it’s already known where the gunshot wound on the leg came from… But for what reason did Kelley break into Jones’s room? Eh, a complicated case.

And so:

  1. Who was the murderer?

  2. What did he kill with?

  3. At what time and where did the murder take place?

  4. What was the motive?

Answer

It was Scott who killed, driving the knife into the back of the victim in such a way that he hit the heart. But let’s get the facts:

  1. We know that Kelley went to Jones’s room 5 minutes before midnight; detective Kaplan later learned that the victim wanted to take from there the documents that showed his dishonesty. He searched for them for 5 minutes, after this time (at midnight) Jones himself entered the roomand shot him in the leg. Kelley managed to get out of the room – hence the bloodstains in front of the door – and go to Mr. Scott’s room.
  2. As it turned out, Mrs. Kelley and Mr. Scott had an affair, and Mr. Kelley learned of it; he wanted to force his opponent to break up with his wife. Shortly after midnight he came to the hotel room occupied by the artist and began shouting at him, to which he responded aggressively. They began to argue, it took a bit more than 20 minutes. Scott waited for a moment when the betrayed spouse turned his back on him and stabbed him with a knife (he managed to kill him by the first blow). He took his body to the park, parked the car in a solitary place and dragged the body where it was found; Then he returned by car to the hotel, left it there and disappeared. The death occurred at 12:30 p.m.
  3. Miss Smith didn’t see Scott leaving the building after the murder, because he had to wash himself and prepare the body of the victim to be deported; the blood was visible only on Scott’s car seat, as the man wrapped Mr Kelley in a rug that unwrapped itself during the ride (when the car jumped on the bumps in the park).
