Mordercza Tajemnica 2
Murder Mystery Game 2

Rezydencja pani Becker tętni życiem. Współpracownicy kobiety odwiedzili ją, aby świętować awans gospodyni na stanowisko kierownicze w firmie, w której pracuje. 6 osób, 3 mężczyzn i 3 kobiety:

dowód2x

Zimna…

– Nie żyje? Jesteś pewna? Ale jak…? No dobrze.

– kiedy już nieco się uspokoiła, przypomniała sobie, że denatka nie ma na szyi diamentowej kolii; jest pewna, że kobieta miała ją wcześniej na sobie i nie zdejmowała jej;

– została poproszona o pójście do kuchni i wyjęcie z piekarnika pieczeni; umyślnie udała się tam nieco wcześniej, aby mieć pewność, że usłyszy timer oznaczający koniec czasu pieczenia;

– widziała Gwiazdowicz i Kostkiewicz wychodzące do ogrodu – po kwiaty na stół, jak wyjaśniła jej gospodyni;

Joanna Gwiazdowicz:

– potwierdza, że była w ogrodzie razem z Patrycją; dowód – kwiaty i mokre ubrania (bo zaczęło padać);

Patrycja Kostkiewicz:

– czekając na wezwanie na rozmowę zauważyła, że świecznik na stole w jadalni jest przewrócony, a świeca leży obok niego;

– widziała jak Purpulewski zaciągał żaluzje w jadalni

Wiktor Purpulewski

– był w łazience gdy Siwecka znalazła ciało;

– wcześniej słyszał dziwny dźwięk (jakby… charkot?), ale nie zwrócił na to uwagi; myślał, że to ogrodnik kosił trawę w ogrodzie;

Paweł Zielnicki

– zapiera się, że nie zabił; nóż? Przyszedł listonosz, denatka chciała, żeby jej otworzyć kopertę, więc przyniósł sobie nożyk do papieru…

Linę, a właściwie długi, cienki sznur.

                Kto zabił i czym?

Mrs. Becker’s residence is full of life. The woman’s co-workers visited her to celebrate the host’s promotion to the managerial position of the company in which she works. 6 people, 3 men and 3 women:

dowód2x

  1. JOANNA GWIAZDOWICZ: She loves fun and flirt. Sheis well aware of her beauty. There’s constantly a cirlcle of adorers around her, and she will do EVERYTHING to remain in the center of interest.
  2. PATRYCJA KOSTKIEWICZ: A woman of great class, loyal to friends and always perfectly organized. She enjoys general respect, but her timelessness and arrogant character may ruin her one day.
  3. DIANA SIWECKA: Strong and determined. She will not back down to anything that could help her succeed. But when something does not work out for her, she can unleash the true hell!
  4. WIKTOR PURPULEWSKI: Some abuse his good heart. But this incredibly well-educated genius could solve all the problems of this world – if only left home more often.
  5. JACEK GORCZYŃSKI: In life is guided by honor and sense of duty. He is a talented athlete who is eager to lead the group. Unfortunately, it is not overly imaginative – he prefers to solve the problems by means of force rather than by deduction.
  6. PAWEŁ ZIELNICKI: Extremely handsome and well behaved. By charming others with his charisma, he has achieved much in life. But won’t the ruthlessness and the tendency to manipulate people fail him someday?

Someone looking from the outside would say: despite such strong characters, it is a good group of friends. Their company is big, they work in different departments; they met when Purpulewski was looking for people willing to go on a trip to Masuria – the man is an avid sailor. At that time, he had just started working in this company and could not afford it for a few days alone. Since then, they have come closer to each other, they are like family to each other (so much easier, none of them has partner or children). Sometimes, indeed, there are misunderstandings, but each of them would jump for the rest in the fire. But… let’s go back to the party. Our characters are free to walk around the house and to the garden, knowing they have permission from the host. Suddenly, there is a scream throughout the house – Diana Siwecka, coming from the dining room. As they all rush into the room, they see something that surprises them quite a lot: the woman is kneeling on the carpet, screaming horribly; beside her, Mrs. Becker is lying on her back, with a look of horror on her face and her eyes fixed on the ceiling. Joanna Gwiazdowicz, shuffling on her high heels, runs up to Diana and slaps her across the face with a blow. She grimaces at it, doesn’t like that someone else is in the spotlight. The woman gets a little more sober and only now realizes that someone is with her.

„Dead… She’s dead… Cold…”

„Dead? Are you sure? But how…? Well alright. Paweł, go call the police, we cannot stand here! Jacek, go to the kitchen and bring Diana something to calm down from the first aid kit. – Patricja Kostkiewicz’s voice is calm and firm, and she is trying to be the voice of reason for the shattered group.

Some time later detective Cluedo appears at home. After photographing the scene of the crime scene, the man goes out to the living room and calls each of them to talk to find out the facts. Here’s what he gets to know:

Diana Siwecka (called first, because she found the body):

– when she had calmed herself down, she remembered that the victim didn’t have her diamond necklace around her neck; she is sure the woman had it on before and did not take it off;

– was asked to go to the kitchen and take the roast out from the oven; she deliberately went there a little earlier to be sure she would hear a timer indicating the end of the roasting time;

– she saw Gwiazdowicz and Kostkiewicz going out to the garden – for the flowers on the table, as explained by her host;

Joanna Gwiazdowicz:

– confirms that she was in the garden with Patrycja; proof – flowers and wet clothes (because it started to rain);

– she noticed that Zielnicki was walking around the house with a knife; what for?

Patrycja Kostkiewicz:

– waiting for the talk, she noticed that the candlestick on the table in the dining room was overturned and the candle was lying beside it;

– She saw Purpulewski pull the shutters in the dining room down;

Wiktor Purpulewski:

– he could see that there were no blood on the victim’s body

– previously spoke with Zielnicki, who confessed that he could kill for the necklace like the one that Mrs Becker was wearing; his wife wants to have one like tjis, but these diamonds are ghastly expensive, Zielnicki simply does not have such money now…

Jacek Gorczyński:

– he was in the bathroom when Sivecka found the body;

– earlier, he heard a strange sound (as if… a wheeze?), but he did not pay any attention; he thought iy was a gardener mowing grass in the garden;

Paweł Zielnicki:

– he claims he did not kill; knife? The postman came, the victim wanted him to open the envelope, so he brought a paper knife…

Some time after making his testimony, Zielnicki returned to the living room and offered the detective something that made the man quickly find the killer – and he was able to determine the method of murder. What? Rope, actually a long, thin rope. One of its ends was clearly melted. When asked where it lay, Zielnicki grimaced and explained that he found him near the corpse under the table.

Who killed and what with?

Answer

Purpulewski killed, strangling Mrs. Becker with that rope – the one that was attached to the shutter. He melted it because he could not tear  it away; trials of cutting it (with the paper knife found after Zielnicki opened the letter) also did not give any results); then he extinguished the flame and set the candle as he was, but did not notice that he accidentally knocked the candlestick out. He killed with jealousy, it was him who was initially promised manager position! And besides, he had debts; he knew from the colleague that the host’s diamonds were expensive, so he took them and planned to sell them.
